The Religious Life of the School compliments learning in the Religion classroom. Jesus is at the centre of both dimensions of the Model for Religious Education and students are encouraged to continue to live out the message of Christ in our world today.  Staff aspire to nurture, challenge, and shape the heart, mind, and spirit of each young person through their understanding of the Dominican Catholic story. Prayer and worship are central to the life of San Sisto College. The school day and College assemblies begin with prayer and there is dedicated time for daily meditation at the College. The Colleg

e also celebrates through prayer and festivities the feast days of our House patrons: St Dominic, St Catherine of Siena, St Rose of Lima, and Sr M. Jude, our first Principal.

San Sisto College celebrates liturgies, including the Eucharist on many occasions throughout the year. Community Mass is held in our

beautiful College Chapel and is open to students and staff. As well as annual liturgical celebrations including San Sisto Day, Year 12 Graduation, Senior Commissioning and Opening Mass, and more.

All students participate in Reflection Days or Retreats in which they are encouraged to pray, reflect, and grow

their spirituality. They consider how to engage positively with each other and make a difference to their community and beyond.
